Realities for Children hosts NightLights every year in December to provide support and holiday cheer for abused, neglected and at-risk children in Larimer County. During the last two months of 2016, the organization reported that more than $125,000 in donations was raised for NightLights.
Although NightLights is hosted near the holidays, you can make donations any time during the year. Realities for Children has a link on their website where you can make donations. You can donate money, toys, school supplies, bicycles and tricycles or your time by becoming a volunteer.
How to Help Realities for Children
Realities for Children also hosts multiple events throughout the year. These are also good opportunities to get involved. The Realities Ride and Rally is held on Memorial Day weekend in Fort Collins every year. This motorcycle rally honors veterans and raises funds for abused, neglected and at-risk children in Larimer County. You can participate in the Forever Family Ride during Labor Day weekend, which provides direct support to these children. There is also a back-to-school drive held in July, where you can donate school supplies. Many other events are held throughout the year, and all are good opportunities to help abused children.
Metier Law Firm, LLC has supported and donated to Realities for Children over the years. We were named as one of the Champions for Children last year after NightLights concluded. Last summer, Metier Law Firm, LLC was presented with a Guardian Angel Award for our continued support.
Our blog posts updates on Realities for Children events throughout the year. Continue following our blog for more information on how you can get involved.
