Will More Lighting on a Motorcycle Decrease the Number of Motorcycle Accidents?

Visibility has always been a serious issue for motorcyclists, and lack of visibility causes a fair share of accidents and fatalities. Recently, there have been some new ideas and innovations put forward that are going to attempt to fix the problem. One man’s motorcycle accident turned into a $100,000 idea when he started a company, GearBrake, which secured funding to develop a new type of brake light. The innovative light flashes near the rear of the motorcycle to warn nearby drivers of the motorcyclist’s presence. GearBrake is also working on a wireless lighting system that can be worn on clothing to help increase the visibility of motorcycles even further.
