Rain storms couldn’t dampen the sounds of 2 wheeled street thunder as an estimated 30,000 people rolled into the mountain town Cripple Creek, Colorado on August 19-21 to celebrate the 24th Annual Salute To American Veterans Rally put on by Pro Promotions.

The annual event is dedicated to honoring the brave soldiers who have defended our country over the years and is the oldest and largest motorcycle event honoring veterans west of the Mississippi. The rally included two military remembrance ceremonies; The annual POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony, held in the City Park and the annual remembrance ceremony of local soldiers who lost their lives in the last year by adding their names to the Cripple Creek War Memorial.

These somber and reflective ceremonies and memorials were also accompanied by the excitement of the annual Veterans Parade, where thousands of people rode their motorcycles through downtown Cripple Creek and were accompanied by military vehicles, helicopters, and veterans going all the way back to World War II. This year’s parade Grand Marshall was Retired Navy Lt. Jim Downing, who at 102 years old is the oldest known survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack in World War II.

Law Tigers is proud to be a sponsor of such an amazing event that honors our heroes who have chosen to defend our country and make it the great place it is that we live in today. We at Law Tigers would like to say “thank you” to all of our veterans and active duty soldiers of all the branches of the military for all they do to keep us safe, and defend American democracy in an ever-changing world.

We would also like to thank the staff at Pro Promotions and owners Jim and Pam Wear for continuing to honor our American veterans in such an amazing way year after year. We hope to see everyone at next year’s event, which will be the 25th annual Salute to American Veterans Rally, where we will all celebrate the quarter-century mark of this incredible event.
