Who says motorcycle clubs are just for boys? It was 1986 and a group of motorcycling women were pondering this same question. Why couldn’t motorcycling women have their own club and comradery? So, they got together and put an ad in the Village Voice, and the Sirens Women’s Motorcycle Club was born. Now, 25 years later, this club is riding with over 40 members and they perform a unique service for their community. Metier Law Firm Sponsors 2016 Bikes for Tykes Donation Drive

Metier Law Firm was a proud sponsor of the 2016 Bikes for Tykes event hosted by Realities for Children. With Metier Law Firm’s help, and through the efforts of other sponsors and the community, Realities for Children distributed more than 300 bikes to abused, neglected and at-risk kids! At this year’s event, donated bicycles and tricycles came with personalized license plates provided by Metier Law Firm. Since 1996, Realities for Children’s Bikes for Tykes program has given abused, neglected and at-risk kids bicycles and helmets during the holiday season. At the event, kids who are registered through Realities for Children or one of its affiliated agencies get the chance to choose one bicycle or tricycle among hundreds. Is Laguna Seca Raceway in Trouble?

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is a legendary place when it comes to motorsports racing. It has hosted races from premiere international leagues as well as national championships, but there’s a problem. The track is having funding issues, and a personal injury lawsuit is laying these issues open for the whole world to see. The Problem with Laguna Seca Raceway The Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula (SCRAMP) has managed Laguna Seca for over 50 years, but it’s been having problems. In 2014, the MotoGP Championship pulled its race from the calendar at the storied track. The powers-that-be at Dorna—the company that runs MotoGP—said the track didn’t have the modern advancements that modern raceways must have to keep riders safe.
